Mount Whymper

Mount Whymper, 2,844 m, is a mountain located in the Canadian Rockies, British Columbia, Canada, in the Vermilion Pass area in Kootenay National Park. The mountain is named for its first conqueror, the English alpinist, explorer, writer and engraver Edward Whymper. Storm Mountain

Storm Mountain is a 3,158-metre (10,361-foot) mountain summit located on the Continental Divide on the shared border of Alberta and British Columbia in Canada. It is situated on the shared boundary of Kootenay National Park with Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Stanley Glacier

Very nice and quiet trail. If you go by HW 93 from Castle Junction, about 4km after Continental Divide on the left side there is a small parking lot, cannot miss it, – the trail starts from there. Very moderate incline through the forest with openings here and there; if you come early you’ll enjoy the sun on surrounding mountains.
